Hi there!
In the first month of summer, we've made our platform even more convenient and reliable. Here's what the INAPPSTORY team has been working on in June:
Let's start with the game updates*:
- We've added a new “Multi-win” mode. Now users can keep playing even after winning a prize, as long as they still have attempts left. This boosts engagement and time spent in the app.
Key features of the mode:
• A promo code is issued only once. If a user has already won and then plays again and wins, they'll see the same win screen they already received.
• If you make changes to the prize screen, it will automatically update for all users who have already won that prize.
• If a player wins and then loses on a subsequent attempt, they won't receive a consolation prize or see the loss screen.
- We've added the ability to choose a starting level in the “Sorting” game. Users can now begin from the level you specify in the settings, giving you precise control over the difficulty for different game launches.
- We've updated the tutorial scenarios. Before the first launch of a mechanic, users are offered a tutorial, but they can now skip it and jump straight into the game.
Now onto platform updates:
- We've introduced the ability to disable quantity input in the “Products”* and “Product Carousel”* widgets. This prevents users from changing the quantity in the product card before adding it to the cart. This feature is useful for promotions and other scenarios where it's important to control the order quantity and not allow manual changes.
- We've expanded security and integration settings. You can now restrict the launch of mechanics and promo code issuance to reduce fraud risk, specifically:
• block the launch of the SDK INAPPSTORY SDK without a userID,
• block promo code issuance without a userID,
• disable SSL-certificate verification in Webhooks for specific integration scenarios.
- We've launched the In-App Landing Page** — an option for vertical scrolling inside stories, in-app-messages, and games. No need to redirect users to external sites for detailed information — all content fits on a single slide.
Important: to use this feature, you need to update to the following SDK versions
android >= 1.25.0
iOS >= 1.29.0
JS >= 3.14.0
React >= 1.15.0
- We've added the ability to run A/B testing* in in-app-messages* and banners*. Previously, hypothesis testing was only available for stories, and now it's available in other formats too. Compare different designs, offers, or display scenarios and see which one performs better in terms of engagement and conversions.
*This is an additional paid feature. Contact your account manager for details.
**Available in all games for users with the “Games” add‑on enabled. For use in stories and in‑app-messages, this is an additional paid feature. Contact your account manager for details.
Thank you for working with us — see you in the next digest!
