Digest — July 2026

August 04, 202610 min

Hi there!

In July, the INAPPSTORY team continued to improve the platform. Here are the key updates from the month:

Let's start with the game updates*:

  1. We've expanded the settings for the “Wheel of Fortune” game:

Updated the sector count setting. You can now choose between 3 and 18 sectors, allowing you to tailor the mechanic to the number of prizes;

Introduced a test mode. Select a sector in the settings, and only that sector will come up during testing. This lets you check how a specific sector works before launch.

  1. We’ve expanded the prize drop settings in “Mystery Boxes”. You can now choose whether each prize can drop only once or multiple times. This gives you more control over prize distribution within the game.
  2. We’ve introduced a new “Survival” mode for “Catcher”, “Runner”, and “Slicer”. The user’s goal is to make it to the end of the timer with at least one life remaining. If they succeed, they’ll see the prize screen. This boosts engagement and time spent in the app.

Key features of the mode:

• As with the “Multi-win” mode, users can keep playing even after winning a prize, as long as they still have attempts left.

• You need to set at least one life per attempt in the mode settings. If you set this value to zero, the game will end with an error.

  1. We’ve introduced a win field in the Webhook’s for “Catcher”, “Runner”, and “Slicer”. It indicates the result of the game session — a win or a loss. This data can be used in analytics and to trigger different user communication flows.

Now onto platform updates:

  1. We've added banners* support to the React Native SDK. Available from version 0.28.0 onward.
  2. We’ve introduced hidden layer support in the “Ask question” widget. You can place additional content on the hidden layer and display it after the user submits their response. This keeps the interaction flow uninterrupted.
  3. We’ve added Webhook logs to the platform. You can now check each event and identify the cause of data transfer errors more quickly. This makes it easier to configure integrations and monitor scenarios that are already live.

*This is an additional paid feature. Contact your account manager for details.

Thank you for working with us — see you in the next digest!
